Punjab Chief TV Minister Maryam Nawaz has taken decisive action against those spreading false rumors about an alleged rape at a Lahore private college.
She accused PTI of fueling unrest during the SCO summit and emphasized that the victim’s family had denied the assault. Maryam clarified that the girl had been injured at home, not raped, with a high-level committee confirming no assault took place.
Despite ongoing protests, Maryam vowed to hold accountable those responsible for spreading misinformation and assured that the truth would prevail.
