ISLAMABAD: A high-level Chinese military delegation, led by Lieutenant General Wang Gang of the People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF), met with Pakistan Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu at Air Headquarters on Tuesday.
The visit focused on regional security dynamics and deepening cooperation in airpower and joint operations. The Air Chief warmly welcomed the delegation, reaffirming the historic and trusted bond between Pakistan and China.
Lt Gen Wang was given a comprehensive briefing on the Pakistan Air Force’s modern capabilities, evolving doctrine, and strategic outlook. The Air Chief underscored Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening collaboration in training, technology, and operational readiness.
Highly impressed by PAF’s operational edge, Lt Gen Wang commended its seamless Multi-Domain Operations, calling them a benchmark for modern air combat. He also praised PAF’s swift and precise response during its past aerial encounter with India, describing it as a “textbook example” of discipline, professionalism, and strategic precision.
The meeting underscored the shared resolve of both nations to elevate their strategic partnership through closer military ties and innovation-driven collaboration.
