Bushra Bibi, wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, has accused that a flurry of phone calls came to General (r) Qamar Javed Bajwa from “somewhere” following Imran Khan’s barefoot visit to Medina. She claimed these calls started as soon as Imran Khan returned from his trip.
In her statement, Bashra Bibi alleged that Bajwa was asked , “Who is this person you’ve brought? We don’t need such individuals.” She went on to say that they were told, “We are about to abolish Sharia in the country, and you’ve brought someone like him.” Following this, she claimed, a smear campaign against PTI’s founder began, with accusations labeling him a Jewish agent.
However, sources close to former Army Chief General (r) Qamar Javed Bajwa have denied Bashra Bibi’s allegations.
Senior journalist Ansar Abbasi reported that sources close to Bajwa rejected Bashra Bibi’s statement, insisting that no calls had been made to him after his Madiana’s visit. These sources firmly refuted her claims, stating that her accusation was false.
