Bushra Bibi, the wife of PTI founder Imran Khan, declared that she will not leave D-Chowk until her husband is with her.
Addressing the participants of the rally, Bushra Bibi questioned why peaceful protesters like them were being subjected to shelling.
She emphasized that Imran Khan is fighting for truth and justice, and urged the authorities to stop the violence. “He stands for what’s right; why do you target us with shells?” she said.
Bushra Bibi strongly committed to staying at D-Chowk, stating, “I promise, I will be the last woman to leave without Khan.” She added that they would not leave D-Chowk until Imran Khan joined them.
It’s noteworthy that PTI had announced a rally in Islamabad on 24th November. After being granted bail, Bushra Bibi decided to join the protest and led the convoy along with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Chief Minister, Ali Amin Gandapur.
Despite PTI founder Imran Khan suggesting an alternative location, Bushra Bibi remained firm on her decision to go to D-Chowk.
