“Behind Bars” – Imran Khan’s year in Adiala Jail , Key Insights

An intriguing insight has emerged regarding Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former Prime Minister, during his year-long imprisonment in Adiala Jail.”

According to reports from private TV channel Express, Khan faced over 180 trial hearings throughout his 365-day sentence and met with party leaders and his lawyers more than 100 times.

During this period, he spent approximately 1,000 hours attending court hearings.

Remarkably, Khan engaged with the media over 180 times while incarcerated.

He also made three appearances in e-courts.

Sources from the jail reported that he was sentenced in three different cases during the year.

Notably, Khan did not have a private meeting with his wife, Bushra Bibi, at any time.

Additionally, he spent 90 days in solitary confinement but reportedly did not experience any illness during his imprisonment.
