In a series of coordinated terrorist attacks across Balochistan on August 25-26, Pakistan lost 14 military and law enforcement personnel.
The attacks, targeting Musakhel, Kalat, and Lasbela districts, aimed to destabilize the region and harm civilians.
In Musakhel, terrorists ambushed a bus in Rarasham, killing 23 people. Security forces swiftly responded, killing 21 attackers but losing 14 personnel in the process.
Sanitization operations are underway to capture those responsible.
Kalat was hit by multiple attacks, including on a tribal leader’s home, a toll plaza, a hotel, and a hospital, resulting in 10 deaths and several injuries.
Security forces engaged in intense fighting, leading to the martyrdom of four Levies personnel and a police officer, with five civilians also killed.
Other incidents included an attack on a Frontier Corps camp in Lasbela, a railway bridge explosion in Bolan, and a Levies police station capture in Mastung.
In Gwadar, terrorists attacked a police station, setting fire to vehicles and taking hostages.
