“Asad Qaiser Blasts Government” – For Attacking Parliament and Arresting PTI Leaders

-

PTI leader Asad Qaiser has condemned the recent attacks on Parliament and the arrest of Barrister Gohar and other PTI parliamentarians.

Qaiser, a former Speaker of the National Assembly under the PTI government, questioned, “If any dignity of Parliament remains in the country, was this done with your permission, Mr. Speaker?” He criticized the treatment of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Chief Minister, calling it “condemnable” and expressing frustration on behalf of the people of KP.

He further questioned the effectiveness of such tactics, asserting, “Holding protests and public meetings is our constitutional and legal right.” Qaiser accused the current administration of leading the country toward instability and chaos, directly addressing Shehbaz Sharif with, “If you intend to remain Prime Minister in this manner, your days are numbered.”

Qaiser emphasized, “You have attacked democracy, and you will be held accountable for it.”

Earlier, before the arrests of top PTI leaders, Qaiser accused the government of employing coercive measures to force support for a crucial legislative package.
