In a remarkable feat, over 2,000 young individuals set a new Guinness World Record for the largest egg-and-spoon race at the Egg Fair in Mexico.
Held by Tepatitlán Poultry Farmers in Jalisco, Mexico, the event saw nearly 2,700 students from a local high school competing in a 100-meter race, balancing eggs on spoons as they ran.
Guinness World Records officially confirmed that 2,039 participants completed the race without breaking any rules, securing the title for the world’s biggest egg-and-spoon race.
The previous record was held in London, where 1,400 participants competed.
