“I don’t care if I lose my governorship; I openly call for jihad and rebellion against Israel.
The ongoing exchange of sharp remarks between Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori and Faisal Vawda has raised questions about the Governor’s future. Vawda’s recent comments, though not directly naming Tessori, hinted at potential trouble for the Governor’s position, leading to speculation that Tessori might be removed soon.
In a TV program, Vawda suggested that a provincial governor is facing difficulties, claiming, “Yes, I can see it happening very soon.” He also criticized the person for “selling names, making money, lying, and creating confusion,” which sources confirmed pointed toward Governor Tessori.
Tessori responded by acknowledging Vawda as a “brother” but also noting that Vawda sometimes forgets which side he is on. He defended himself, saying that a good player, despite occasional mistakes, learns from them. He also pointed out that both he and Vawda attended the same university, which raises the question: why this continued conflict?
Sources suggest that Vawda’s remarks were prompted by a political conversation in which Tessori’s comments about Vawda’s image were shared, leading to a public response from the National Assembly member.
Amid growing political activity in Sindh, some figures are positioning themselves as potential replacements for the Governor. However, Tessori’s significant contributions, such as teaching 50,000 students and distributing aid to 850,000 people, have made him a key figure with little immediate alternative. Many political leaders have even praised his efforts, acknowledging that they would like to replicate his work.
Despite the controversy, Tessori remains confident, stating, “Since I arrived, people have been talking about me leaving. But all I can say is: work hard, don’t envy.”
Meanwhile Sindh Governor Sindh condoming the atrocities against Palestinians, decleared that , “I don’t care if I lose my governorship; I openly call for jihad and rebellion against Israel.”
Speaking at a solidarity gathering for Palestine held at Governor House, Tessori expressed his anguish, saying, “The atrocities against Palestinians make my heart weep tears of blood.”
He announced his departure to Egypt with aid, stating, “We will deliver assistance within our means.”
He emphasized that the entire Pakistani nation stands with the Palestinians and urged, “We should fear Allah, not Jewish powers, and raise our voices for Palestine on every platform.”
The governor concluded by calling for unity, saying, “We must all come together to advocate for Palestine.”
