🎨 Renowned artists Leila Hegazy, Carsie Blanton, and Sahib Tantoush have embarked on the Global Sumud Flotilla, transforming a humanitarian mission into a powerful act of artistic activism.

“Art is witnessing and acting. By joining this flotilla, we are turning our journey into a platform for Gaza’s voices,” said Hegazy.

The Global Sumud Flotilla, comprising over 50 vessels from around the world, faces challenges including drone attacks, sabotage attempts, and attempts to deter their mission.

Despite these obstacles, participants remain committed, highlighting the intersection of art, activism, and humanitarian work.

The artists are documenting the voyage, capturing moments of solidarity, resilience, and hope, demonstrating how creative expression can amplify social movements.

Their involvement underscores the crucial role of artists in activism, showing that art can transform action into global awareness.
