🇵🇰🇨🇳 In a spectacular celebration of fashion and friendship, Pakistan and China marked 60 years of diplomatic relations with a stunning fashion show on the Great Wall of China.
The historic Badaling section turned into a global runway where top Pakistani and Chinese designers showcased their latest collections, blending culture, creativity, and couture.

Organized by the Embassy of Pakistan in Beijing and the China International Cultural Communication Center (CICCC), the event celebrated the enduring Pakistan–China friendship through art and design, symbolizing unity on one of the world’s greatest landmarks.

The show was curated by renowned fashion expert Adnan Ansari of Riwayat, featuring collections from celebrated Pakistani designers Maheen Khan, Moazzam Abbasi, Ayesha Tariq, Rizwanullah, and Zain Hashmi. China-based Pakistani designer Aqeel Chaudhary unveiled his exquisite jewellery line, while acclaimed Chinese designer Liang Suyun showcased her elegant creations.

The event drew a large gathering of Chinese officials, diplomats, media representatives, and business leaders. Ambassador Khalil Hashmi described the fashion show as a “living expression of the Silk Road spirit,” calling it a new milestone in Pakistan–China cultural and economic collaboration. He added, “The Great Wall stands as a timeless symbol of our enduring friendship.”
CICCC Chairman Long Yuxiang praised the fashion show as a vibrant example of China–Pakistan All-Weather Strategic Cooperation, reaffirming his commitment to further strengthening cultural bonds between the two nations.
Marking six decades of friendship and partnership, the Great Wall fashion show became more than a runway—it became a powerful symbol of art, unity, and timeless ties between Pakistan and China.
