It is less than one month before 2024 elections and Imran Khan’s party is at odds due to crackdown against them by influential quarters and political opponents.
Now, party is facing another turmoil due to removal of the cricket bat symbol from ballot paper. PTI’s voters may find it challenging to identify the party’s electoral representation. Party candidates are participating in the election with individual symbols, a situation that experts believe might confuse voters. Now it is bewildering scenario for PTI supporters where every PTI candidate has his own unique symbol. Here is the PTI candidates list with their individual symbols contesting elections from Lahore’s NA seats.
In Provincial assembly PTI’s candidates are contesting on aircraft, parrot, coin, bed etc. It seems hilarious. Isn’t it?
Critics consider it the move as part of rigging by state authorities against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and its charismatic leader, Imran Khan.
The move could deny the former prime minister and his party a shot at a fair contest.
