Two mischievous goats were recently spotted in Washington, causing quite a stir, and according to local police, they were “detained for baaaaaadddd behavior.”
In Washington, a pair of goats who had escaped were caught by authorities after causing a stir by wandering through the city and chasing pedestrians. The Kent Police Department shared an update on Instagram, stating that the goats were spotted in the northern part of the city and were detained for their “baaaaaadddd behavior,” UPI reported.
“We’re unsure of their origins, but the two goats decided that chasing people sounded like a fun idea,” the post read.
“Don’t get us wrong, they’re very cute, but no kidding around—it’s not okay for either goats or people to chase others,” the department added. They jokingly mentioned that they had interrogated the playful goats and one of them “bleated” that he was “just feeling a bit baaaaa-d today.”
Rather than being punished for their antics, the goats were taken to the King County Animal Shelter, where efforts are underway to locate their owner.
This isn’t the first time goats have caused a commotion. Last year, another goat was involved in some mischief when its owner, Anne Lomas, resorted to giving her troublemaking pet, Gary, a “mock ride” after he caused havoc at their Cumbria farm.
