This holiday season, Germany is going all out with a Christmas tree that’s literally dripping in gold. Standing at 10 feet tall and valued at a jaw-dropping $5.5 million, this isn’t your average tree – it’s made entirely of 2,024 gold Vienna Philharmonic coins, bringing serious bling to the holiday spirit.
If you’re looking to flex on social media, here’s the most expensive Christmas tree in the world, designed to wow and inspire.
One of the world’s priciest Christmas trees has been revealed in Germany. Crafted from 2,024 gold Vienna Philharmonic coins—one of the most popular collector coins worldwide—the tree weighs 63 kg and is valued at $5.5 million (roughly Rs 47 crore).
Created by Munich-based bullion dealers Pro Aurum, the tree serves as a symbol of wealth and lasting value. “Gold can’t be reproduced at will and holds its value through generations.
EThis gold Christmas tree is a striking example of that enduring significance,” said Benjamin Summa, spokesperson for Pro Aurum.
Standing 10 feet tall, this “tree” is not for sale and is displayed exclusively at Pro Aurum’s headquarters in Munich for a limited time to celebrate the company’s 35th anniversary. A representative added that the tree symbolizes the timeless, evergreen value of gold.
