In Wisconsin, a 10-year-old child called emergency services for assistance with math homework, prompting a deputy sheriff to respond.
The Shawano County Sheriff’s Office shared on social media that the child dialed 911, explaining that their family wasn’t good at math and they needed help with their homework.
Sheriff George Lenzner stated that dispatcher Kim Krause informed the child that 911 is not meant for homework assistance. However, the officer still offered to help and tried to address the child’s concerns.
