-

In a groundbreaking move to support women’s mobility, the Sindh government has announced a plan to provide free electric motorcycles to ease their daily commutes.

The Transport Department has proposed a Rs300 million budget for the initiative, aiming to distribute 1,200 e-bikes annually, with 100 women receiving them each month through a lucky draw.

The Sindh Cabinet is set to approve an initial Rs30 million for the scheme in its meeting on February 27.
