Fresh Blow to Consumers — Patrol, Diesel Prices Hiked Again

The federal government has once again raised fuel prices, dealing a fresh blow to consumers. Starting October 1, petrol will now cost **Rs268.68 per litre** after an increase of **Rs4.70**, while high-speed diesel has jumped by **Rs4.40**, reaching **Rs276.81 per litre**.

These revised rates, announced by the Ministry of Finance, will stay in effect for the first half of October.
