Charlie Chaplin – Comic genius with tragic soul

-

Sir Charles Spencer Chaplin (16 April 1889 – 25 December 1977) alias Charlie Chaplin was an English comic actor, filmmaker, and composer who rose to fame in the era of silent film. He was a comeic genius with tragic soul because people laughed a lot watching his show, but he himself remained melancholic inside.

He became a worldwide icon through his screen persona, the Tramp, and is considered one of the film industry’s most important figures. His career spanned more than 75 years, from childhood in the Victorian era until a year before his death in 1977, and encompassed both adulation and controversy.

Here are some of his top movies showing his remarkable talent .

Despite all material possessions, he couldn’t find happiness in his life. It is said that once a troubled person went to a psychologist and said,

“Doctor, I am very depressed. Can you suggest something that can make me happy?”

The doctor said to him,

“You should watch Charlie Chaplin’s show.”

Meanwhile, outside the waiting room, Charlie Chaplin himself was sitting in line with the patients, holding a token in his hand.
Charlie Chaplin was a comedian, but when the time of death approached, he had become a tragedian in terms of his psychology. The person who made others laugh once commented on his situation in these words…

“I always like to walk in the rain, so that no one can see me crying.”

This is the story of every man and woman in this world. People laugh artificially, but they don’t find any happiness inside. People artificially narrate stories of their success, but inside, they are afflicted with defeated spirits.

The truth is that there is no real happiness and comfort in this transient world. True happiness and comfort are only in the hereafter, which will be obtained by worshipers of God, which no one can end or take away.

The Creator of this world has created this transient world for action. Here we can only act. Yes, now it is up to us whether we understand everything in the glittering glitter of artificial happiness in this world or think about the next world for real happiness, and bow down in prostration before our Creator.
