Babar Azam, the former captain of Pakistan and a renowned cricketer, is presently in Madina, Saudi Arabia, to honor Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by visiting the Prophet’s Mosque, Islam’s second holiest site.
His journey to Saudi Arabia coincides with Ramadan, following his participation in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 9.
Babar shared his Madina visit on Instagram, showcasing himself performing ablution in front of the Green Dome, a significant part of the Prophet’s Mosque resting atop Prophet Muhammad’s grave.
The cricketer showed reverence towards the holy prophet in the post’s caption which read:
“At the doorsteps of the beloved prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him – The Orphan who adopted the world.”
