In the fifth season of the league, Karachi Kings clinched their maiden title as champions of the HBL PSL in 2020. Their journey to glory saw them appearing in just one HBL PSL Final out of eight, a triumph they secured. Additionally, they boasted a commendable record of qualifying for the HBL PSL playoffs in six out of eight instances until HBL PSL 8 in 2023. However, recent seasons have posed challenges for Karachi Kings, as they’ve grappled to secure a playoff berth over the past two seasons, managing only four wins in 20 matches.
