Strength, Resilience, Heritage,

Multan Sultans, the sixth franchise in the Pakistan Super League, was not part of the league’s initial lineup but was introduced by PSL management in 2018. Initially sold to Schon Properties, a Dubai-based real estate developer, for a staggering 41.6 million dollars over 8 years, it became the most expensive franchise in the PSL.

However, in November 2018, the PCB terminated the rights of the sixth team due to payment issues. Subsequently, the rights were resolved with the Tareen Group following their successful bid in December 2018. The franchise derives its name from Multan, one of Punjab province’s major cities, and utilizes the Multan Cricket Stadium as its home ground in the Pakistan Super League.
