Trump’s Big U-Turn—Blames Iran Attack on His Advisers!

-

In a major shift, US President Donald Trump has taken a surprising U‑turn on the Iran conflict, saying the decision to strike Tehran was driven by his top advisers, not solely his own judgment.

According to reports, Trump revealed that negotiator Steve Witkoff, senior adviser Jared Kushner and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth pushed him toward military action, claiming Iran was preparing to attack the United States — a move he now says he agreed to after their recommendations.

Speaking at a press event in Florida, Trump insisted the situation with Iran had reached a “point of no return,” and without decisive action, Tehran might have struck first. He said US strikes destroyed 51 Iranian naval vessels and targeted drone factories, reducing Iranian drone attacks significantly.

Trump also warned that if Iran attempted to block global oil supplies or close the Strait of Hormuz, the US would respond with overwhelming military force. He hinted at the possibility of easing some oil sanctions to stabilize global energy markets.

In recent remarks, Trump claimed the Iran conflict could end soon but cautioned Tehran against escalating tensions further, even as investigations continue into an alleged attack on a girls’ school.

Meanwhile, international pressure has mounted as global leaders call for a peaceful resolution. Russian President Vladimir Putin reportedly advised Trump to seek an end to the war during recent discussions, emphasizing diplomatic solutions.
