Former Pakistan captain Babar Azam has matched an unwanted T20 International record after getting out for a duck against Sri Lanka in Rawalpindi. This was the 10th time he’s been dismissed on zero in T20Is — putting him level with Saim Ayub and Umar Akmal.
Babar was also out for a duck in the earlier match against Zimbabwe.
Umar Akmal (84 matches), Saim Ayub (55 matches), and Babar Azam (135 matches) now jointly hold the record for most T20I ducks by Pakistani batters.
Sri Lanka beat Pakistan by 6 runs to qualify for the tri-series final, while Zimbabwe bowed out. The final will be played on 29 November between Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
