A horrifying case of child sexual abuse has shaken Karachi after police arrested a local sharbat seller who confessed to raping more than 100 minor girls.
The suspect was caught when a young victim bravely took a USB drive from his house and handed it to a shopkeeper. The drive contained disturbing videos of the assaults, leading locals to detain the man and hand him over to police.
During interrogation, the accused admitted to targeting girls between 7 and 13, mostly daughters of domestic workers, luring them with drinks and money. Investigators also found a diary where he recorded victims’ names, assault dates, and nearly 100 video clips.
Police have formally identified four victims and are probing whether he acted alone or sold the videos online.
