Thanos Gets a Voter ID in Malegaon – Marvel Villain Sparks Political Storm and Meme Madness!
Malegaon, Maharashtra – Move over Avengers, because Thanos has officially entered Indian politics! A voter ID card from Malegaon went viral after it shockingly carried the face of Marvel’s infamous villain, leaving social media in splits and election authorities red-faced.

But behind the laugh riot lies a serious mess. Former MLA Aasif Shaikh Rasheed dropped a bombshell, claiming over 42,000 fake entries in Malegaon’s voter list. From 6,220 voters with no addresses to 11,298 duplicates and even 3,500 cards with tampered photos, the list seems straight out of a comedy of errors.
Rahul Gandhi added fuel to the fire by sharing the viral video on Instagram with a dig at BJP: “New voter unlocked!”—sparking a political slugfest. The Election Commission, however, insists irregularities are being fixed, while BJP dismissed the uproar as drama.

Meanwhile, the internet turned the fiasco into pure meme gold. One user joked: “Forget Avengers, Thanos is now standing in line with Aadhaar and voter ID.” Others demanded a judicial probe, while many just couldn’t stop laughing at the absurdity of it all.
What started as a Marvel moment has now snowballed into a full-blown debate on India’s voter lists—proving once again that in Indian politics, truth is stranger (and funnier) than fiction.
