Love Guru Promo Turns Ugly -Mahira Khan Mobbed, Cornered, Harassed .

What should have been a glittering celebration of Pakistani cinema turned into a nightmare for superstar Mahira Khan in London — where the actress was reportedly mobbed, groped, and left shaken during a chaotic promotional event for her upcoming film Love Guru.

Held at the Indo-Pak Supermarket in Ilford, the event was meant to be a crowd-puller — and it was, but not in the way anyone hoped. As Mahira and co-star Humayun Saeed arrived to greet fans, an unruly mob swarmed the area, completely overpowering security, resulting in shocking scenes of misbehavior, physical harassment, and public outrage.

Eyewitnesses say the crowd’s behavior turned predatory the moment Mahira tried to enter the store. She was allegedly touched inappropriately by young men, and in a stunning breach of trust, a security guard was also reportedly involved in the misconduct — a betrayal that left Mahira visibly rattled.

“The moment she stepped in, even a guard — who was supposed to protect her — turned on her,” said an insider close to the event.

Later, Mahira appeared visibly uncomfortable on the rooftop terrace, where she and Humayun were scheduled to wave to fans as part of the planned event. Videos circulating on social media show her surrounded and hesitant, while the crowd surged below in a scene of chaos.

As if the turmoil wasn’t enough, the display of Indian flags at the venue sparked further tension among the crowd, given the ongoing sensitivities between India and Pakistan. But the day’s troubles didn’t end there.

According to sources, Mahira was also allegedly promised £5,000 for her appearance — a payment that was never fulfilled. She reportedly confronted the organizers, demanding accountability for both the financial breach and the shocking security lapse.

So far, neither Mahira Khan nor the event organizers have issued an official statement. But online, fans are furious — demanding justice, slamming the organizers, and calling out the gross mismanagement of an event that was supposed to spotlight Pakistani cinema, not scandal.

Love Guru, starring Mahira Khan and Humayun Saeed, is slated for release on June 6. But long before it hits the screens, the film’s London promo has already gone viral — for all the wrong reasons.
