Yellow Storm- Zalmi Demolish Multan by 120 Runs

-

Peshawar Zalmi unleashed a cricketing hurricane in Rawalpindi—blasting 227 with the bat and blowing away Multan Sultans for just 107 in a jaw-dropping 120-run victory.

Zalmi’s Batting Fireworks

After electing to bat first, Zalmi piled on the pressure early. Tom Kohler-Cadmore led the charge with a blistering 52 off 30 balls, supported by Haris (45), Samad (40), Talat (37), and Owen (34). Despite wickets from Willey, Bracewell, and Ubaid Shah (two each), Sultans had no answer to Zalmi’s power-hitting.

Sultans Crumble Under Pressure

Chasing 228, Multan’s batting collapsed in dramatic fashion. Only Usman Khan (44) and Shai Hope (20) offered resistance, as Ali Raza ripped through the lineup with 4 for 21. Yaqoob bagged 3 wickets, while Owen took 2 for 2. Ayub claimed one scalp, with Wood and Joseph going wicketless.

Match Context

Both teams were desperate for their first win in the tournament, but Zalmi stormed ahead, leaving Sultans stunned and struggling.
