In a groundbreaking move, the Ministry of Federal Education has signed an MoU with Khan Academy to integrate its cutting-edge AI tutor, Khanmigo, into classrooms. This revolutionary step aims to personalize education, making learning more interactive, engaging, and effective.
At the signing ceremony, attended by Parliamentary Secretary Farah Naz Akbar and Khan Academy (Pakistan) CEO Zeeshan Hassan, it was announced that teachers from the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) will receive specialized training to seamlessly implement AI-driven learning tools in schools.
The initiative will launch in 432 government schools, initially benefiting over 300,000 students in Islamabad’s middle schools. By blending AI with education, this project is set to redefine traditional teaching, offering customized learning experiences that cater to each student’s unique needs.
