Karachi’s Youth Ready to Shine at 2nd Commissioner Karachi Festival

Get ready for a thrilling celebration of youth power and sportsmanship! The 2nd Commissioner Karachi Festival, kicking off on December 10, promises to energize young people with exciting competitions and a chance to showcase their talents. With a focus on promoting healthy activities and community engagement, this festival is set to be a game-changer for Karachi’s youth.

The festival will feature a variety of sports competitions designed to encourage positive engagement among youth.

According to the Commissioner of Karachi, “The sports festival will offer young people opportunities to participate in constructive activities.”

The festival’s inauguration was scheduled to be held by Sindh’s Minister for Women Development, Shaheena Sher Ali, at the Government Girls Degree College in Lines Area, with a cultural show also planned for the occasion.

The festival will include tug-of-war contests with four teams of boys and girls, as well as table tennis and badminton competitions between teams from government colleges such as Government National College and Government Girls Degree College.

Boxing matches will take place at Kakri Ground, wheelchair basketball at Aram Bagh, and kabaddi at the Karachi Municipal grounds.
