Charsadda: The wife of PTI founder Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi, shared that she was left alone at D-Chowk, but Pashtuns have always proven their sense of honor.
Bushra Bibi visited the home of a deceased worker during the Islamabad protest. During her visit, she offered condolences to the widow and mother of Tajuddin and presented them with a relief check of one crore rupees.
While speaking to the provincial assembly members, she said, “I am not a woman who runs away. I told myself that I could never leave those who were going out for Khan. No one knew which car I was in.”
She explained that at 12:30 AM at D-Chowk, she was alone in her car, while they were forcibly clearing the area. She didn’t leave because Khan had instructed them not to move.
Bushra Bibi further stated, “I just want to tell you that I was alone there, everyone left me. Many people are witnesses, even those clearing the road are witnesses. When I wasn’t leaving, firing took place right in front of my car.”
Additionally, Bushra Bibi handed over the one crore rupee relief check to Tajuddin’s widow and said, “We stand with the mourners in their difficult time.”
