According to the auction house, the painting is in good condition but cannot be displayed before the auction due to its delicate nature.

Robert Ryman, who passed away in 2019 at the age of 88, was known for his experimental works. Initially a jazz pianist, Ryman began painting as a hobby while working as a security guard at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, eventually becoming a prominent artist.
