Shah Rukh Khan and Sons Roar Together in ‘Mufasa, The Lion King’

-

Shah Rukh Khan has lent his voice to Mufasa in the Hindi version of Disney’s upcoming film Mufasa: The Lion King. While unveiling the film’s poster, he drew a connection between his iconic dialogue from Jawan“Beta ko haath lagane se pehle, baap se baat karo” (Before touching the son, talk to the father) — and the protective essence of Mufasa’s character.

In a new promo, Shah Rukh shared his personal bond with the character, reminiscing about his childhood when his hair resembled a lion’s mane. He also highlighted that this project allowed him to collaborate with his son Aryan Khan, who voices Simba in the Hindi adaptation.

Adding a special touch, Shah Rukh’s youngest son, AbRam Khan, marks his debut by voicing young Mufasa in the film.

The movie’s Hindi version also features an impressive voice cast, including Sanjay Mishra as Pumbaa, Shreyas Talpade as Timon, Makarand Deshpande as Rafiki, and Meyang Chang as Zazu.

Directed by Barry Jenkins, the film chronicles Mufasa’s journey from his childhood to becoming king. It is set to release on December 20 in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
