Known as Hotz Pei, the artist is a veteran of Guinness World Records, having previously folded the most origami flowers (100) from a single sheet of paper in 2022 and created the largest origami snail in 2023.

For this latest challenge, Pei spent almost a year experimenting with different paper types, cutting techniques, and tools to achieve the longest and thinnest paper strip ever cut from a single A4 sheet. The 108.15-meter strip, nearly the length of an American football field, became a remarkable piece of art after its completion.

Pei, who called this feat a “personal challenge” to explore the limits of paper manipulation, successfully transformed the 108-meter strip into a stunning creation.

This achievement marks his third paper-based world record, solidifying his place in the Guinness World Records history.
