Karachi’s Heatwave Continues – Relief Not Expected Until November

-

Karachi, the financial heart of Pakistan, is enduring a heatwave, with daytime temperatures ranging from 38°C to 40°C, according to weather expert Jawad Memon.

He explained that a high-pressure system near the coast is disrupting the sea breeze, contributing to the sweltering conditions.

Memon indicated that the oppressive heat will persist through the end of October, with relief anticipated only after November 6 or 7, when the high-pressure effects start to diminish.

He predicts that mid-November will bring more comfortable daytime temperatures between 32°C to 34°C, along with cooler nights.

Previously, Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz had also forecasted a decrease in temperatures for Karachi by the end of this month.
