Tragedy struck in the metropolitan city on Sunday, leaving a teenage girl dead and three others injured in separate firing incidents.

In unprecedented events , a teenage girl was killed allegedly by accidental fire and another three people were injured in separate firing incidents in different areas of the metropolitan city on Sunday.

According to the SHO Mominabad police station, 18-year-old Dua was fatally wounded by an accidental gunshot fired by her uncle. He added that the family was on their way to attend a wedding when the tragedy took place.

Dua’s father and uncle were called to the police station to record their statements. The SHO further stated that they would pursue legal action after the investigation.

In another incident, 25-year-old Asif Raza was injured by a stray bullet near Ovais Qarni Masjid in Orangi Town. He was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment.

Additionally, 42-year-old Abdul Malik was injured by a stray bullet inside a house near Abu Bakr Mosque in Quaidabad. Quaidabad police confirmed based on preliminary investigations that a stray bullet hit the victim.

The police are investigating these incidents to determine the circumstances surrounding the shootings.
