Street crimes in Karachi showed upwards graph in September 2024.
According to Citizen Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) report 5,533 cases of street crime during the month. The figures reveal that 3,982 motorcycles were either stolen or snatched, while 190 cars were taken. Additionally, 1,651 mobile phones were forcibly taken from citizens.
The report also highlighted five cases of extortion and two kidnappings for ransom, reflecting a broader rise in crime throughout the city.
