Harmony in Diversity – World Culture Festival Begins at Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi

The World Culture Festival opened in Karachi, organized by the Arts Council of Pakistan, featuring a vibrant array of performances that drew numerous art lovers.

Local talents Ustad Sabzal and Farhan Raees Khan kicked off the festivities with folk music, followed by Azerbaijani musicians Sahib Pashazade and Kamran Kerimov, whose performance captivated the audience with its storytelling essence.

Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori inaugurated the festival, highlighting its uniqueness in Pakistan’s history and the importance of culture and language as national identities.

Ahmed Shah, President of the Arts Council, praised the collective efforts in organizing the event, showcasing 250 artists from 40 countries and emphasizing the role of culture, art, and music in combating terrorism and extremism.

Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah reiterated the need for cultural roots to promote acceptance and unity in a divided society.

The festival will continue until October 30, celebrating the rich artistic heritage of Pakistan and beyond.
