Babar Azam’s Century and Bowlers Dominate as in Stallions Crush Dolphins.
Babar Azam’s brilliant unbeaten century, combined with an exceptional bowling performance, led the Stallions to a commanding 174-run win against the Dolphins in the seventh match of the Champions One-Day Cup at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad, on Thursday.
Stallions’ Innings:
After choosing to bat first, the Stallions posted a challenging 271/7 in 50 overs. Babar Azam stood out with an unbeaten 104 off 100 balls, including 7 boundaries and 3 sixes. Yasir Khan (46 off 58) and Shan Masood (34) laid a strong foundation with a 76-run opening partnership, while Tayyab Tahir contributed a steady 33. Hussain Talat chipped in with a brisk 23 off 25 balls. Despite Dolphins’ bowlers each taking a wicket, they struggled to control the flow of runs.
Dolphins’ Innings:
