Muhammad Yunus Urges Silence from Sheikh Hasina During Stay in India

-

Muhammad Yunus, Bangladesh’s Chief Advisor, has advised former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to remain silent while in India, describing her political remarks as:

“unfriendly” and urging India to keep her quiet until Dhaka requests her return.

Yunus emphasized that Hasina’s statements from India are problematic and disruptive to both nations.

He criticized India for portraying Bangladesh’s political opposition as extremist, urging a shift away from this narrative.

Yunus stressed the need for improved India-Bangladesh relations and cooperation to address current tensions and restore stability.
