Karachi residents should brace for a return to warmer conditions as the Pakistan Meteorology Department (PMD) predicts a dry spell for the city.
Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz has indicated that no rain is expected in the coming days, with rain forecasts remaining uncertain.
Over the next 24 hours, Karachi is expected to have partly cloudy and humid weather, with temperatures ranging from 32°C to 34°C.
Humidity levels are anticipated to be around 85%, with southwest winds blowing at 19 km/h. Light rain or drizzle might occur in nearby areas like Tharparkar and Umarkot.
Looking ahead, Sarfraz forecasts that Karachi will face warmer days in October, with a chance of heatwaves as the monsoon winds return.
Last month, the city experienced heavy rains from the cyclonic storm ‘Asna,’ leading to road damage and several fatalities across Sindh.
