YouTuber Dr. Umar Adil has faced legal consequences for his offensive comments about TV anchor Ghareeda Farooqui.
Following his arrest and bail, Adil has issued a sincere and unconditional apology.
Adil’s remarks led Farooqui to file a complaint. His refusal to apologise resulted in his arrest, though he was later granted bail.
In a recent social media video, Adil offered his heartfelt apology, saying, “This is my genuine apology to Ghareeda Farooqui. I know my podcast comments have deeply hurt her.”
He claimed his comments were edited misleadingly by the podcast host and expressed respect for female anchors.
He added, “If I’ve hurt Farooqui, intentionally or not, I apologise sincerely.” He concluded by hoping Farooqui would withdraw her complaint, affirming that his apology is both sincere and unconditional.
