In a recent informal chat with journalists from Adiala Jail, PTI founder Imran Khan disclosed that he postponed the PTI rally originally scheduled for August 8 to prevent a repeat of the May 9 incident.
Khan claimed that Nawaz Sharif was prepared to return to London at a moment’s notice, with his essentials packed and ready. He warned that if the government attempts to obstruct the PTI’s September 8 rally, they should expect strong resistance.
Khan urged his party members to remain undeterred by any obstacles on the scheduled date.
He also demanded a public trial for retired General Faiz Hameed and suggested that any disruptions from PML-N are signs of their fear of engaging with the establishment.
In response to a query about a recent message sent to Azam Swati, Khan chose to defer the topic for later discussion.
