Pakistan, UAE Boost Partnership in Key Sectors

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have agreed to strengthen their partnership by exploring new investment opportunities in various sectors.

A top-level UAE delegation, led by Sheikh Ahmed Dalmook Al Maktoum, met with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar to discuss potential investments in Pakistan’s maritime, railways, and aviation sectors.

Both sides highlighted the importance of enhancing their economic relationship and finding new ways to work together.

In a separate meeting, the Secretary General of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), Ambassador Kairat Sarybay, visited Pakistan and met with Deputy Prime Minister Dar.

They discussed Pakistan’s efforts in promoting peace and security in the region. Dar emphasized the need for cooperation and finding long-term solutions to regional conflicts.

The Secretary General praised Pakistan’s active role in CICA and shared updates on the organization’s activities and future plans. Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s dedication to CICA’s goals of peace and development in Asia.
