In anticipation of Eid ul Adha, individuals, particularly children, eagerly anticipate acquiring sacrificial animals. Choices range from cows to goats, sheep, and even camels.
The management of Karachi’s ‘Bakra Mandi’ has announced its location in Taiser Town at Northern Bypass starting May 10 this year.
To facilitate transactions, ATMs and temporary bank branches will be available, along with an ambulance for medical emergencies.
While Eid ul Adha falls in June, the central cattle market will be operational from the first week of May.
Ample parking space will be provided for both buyers and sellers, alongside temporary food stalls.
Traders will benefit from increased facilities, including 30 liters of water per person and free land for cattle sheds.
To ensure the animals’ health, inspections will be conducted, and a Veterinary Department certificate will be mandatory.
